Will you be at the Internet Freedom Festival in Valencia next week? Say hi to Paola Mosso, Paola Verhaert and Madeleine Maxwell, who will all be attending the event!
We are looking forward to learning about the work our peers are doing on organisational security and internet freedom, and we’re excited to meet many of our allies and friends at the event.
We will be looking to engage with organisational security practitioners from the diverse IFF community, to continue understanding their needs and challenges and to learn from diverse experiences in organisational security and internet freedom.
Feel free to reach out on post[at]theengineroom.org if you’d like to schedule a conversation with any or all of us. Below are a few sessions that we’ll be playing a part in. We hope to see some of you there!

Paola Mosso will facilitate a discussion among participants to identify risks in data collection during organisational security assessments, as well as potential ways to mitigate those risks, and map out some options that balance getting input to improve our work with protecting organisations.
Paola will facilitate this session along with digital defenders Jon Camfield (Internews), Carlos Guerra (Con-Nexo) and Anton Kushnir (Digital Security Lab Ukraine).
