In our research, we identify and analyse trends, challenges and opportunities at the intersections of technology, data and justice-focused activism.
Our research combines our experience working with civil society technology with in-depth critical analysis. We use a variety of methods: interviews, desk research, surveys, participatory research and more.

Civil society organisations or individual activists with concrete questions related to the use of data and technology in their work. We prioritise organisations that are under-resourced or who lack in-house tech/data capacity.

Matchbox partnerships offer support over 3-6 months. Through these partnerships we provide targeted research, matchmaking and tailored recommendations in a number of areas.
Who is it for?
Civil society organisations or individual activists with broader challenges or questions related to the use of data and technology in their work. We currently only invite Matchbox applications from organisations in Latin America and Africa after they have engaged with our LiTS programme.
